| The third annual Emergency Services Cup benefit hockey game will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2013, at 3:00 p.m. at the Woodbridge Community Center, 600 Main Street, Woodbridge, NJ.
The game will feature the Woodbridge Police Department playing against the Woodbridge Fire and EMS workers, with all proceeds benefitting Hurricane Sandy Relief.
New York Rangers fan favorite Nick Fotiu will be on hand to drop the ceremonial puck and meet with fans. Nick Fotiu was raised in one of the areas that was hardest hit by the Superstorm and was very eager to help.
Woodbridge Police Officer Neal E. Auricchio, Jr., one of the event organizers, agrees. "We're thrilled to have one of the most recognized hockey players, Nick Fotiu, help us in our quest to help storm victims," the officer says.
The ceremony starts at 3:00 and Nick Fotiu will drop the puck at 3:30. The event also features a raffle and door prizes. Tickets for the event are $10 each and are available at the door.
Woodbridge Fire Company #1 is a proud sponsor of this event. |
