The Office of the Mayor, the Municipal Council, the Woodbridge Township First Response Community
and the Woodbridge Township Interfaith Clergy Council will host: “A Township Remembers: An
Interfaith Memorial Service and Salute to the First Responder Community” on Sunday, September 11,
2022 at 1:00 PM - the 21st Anniversary of the “Attack on America.”

This year, the 9/11 Remembrance Service will again offer a special recognition and salute to our First
Response Community – Woodbridge Township Police Department (WPD), Woodbridge Township Fire
Department(s) and First Aid Squad(s), the Office of Emergency Management and Community Emergency
Response Team (CERT) for outstanding service to our community in the 21 years following the aftermath
of September 11, 2001.
