September 11, 2018 stands as the 17th Anniversary of the “Attack on America.” On that fateful day in 2001, Woodbridge Township First Responders – Woodbridge Police Department (WPD), Woodbridge Township Fire Department personnel, First Aid Squad and EMT’s, the Office of Emergency Management (OEM), Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), and other emergency personnel – without hesitation or concern for personal safety, dispatched to emergency operation locations.

On Tuesday, September 11, 2018, the Office of the Mayor, the Municipal Council and the Woodbridge Interfaith Clergy Council will host: “A Township Remembers: An Interfaith Memorial Service & Salute to the First Responder Community.”

This year, the 9/11 Remembrance Service will offer a special “Salute of Support” to our First Response Community – Woodbridge Township Police Officers, Fire Department Officers and Firefighters, First Aid Squad Officers and EMT’s and Emergency Management personnel.
